WorkSafeBC postdoctoral fellowship award

WorkSafeBC is pleased to announce the launch of the Ralph McGinn Postdoctoral Fellowship award. We’re looking for recent doctoral graduates who will help lead and improve occupational health and safety and work disability in Canada.


Awards are $50,000 per year for 2-3 years

To be eligible, applicants should:

· Be within 4 years of completing a PhD

· Hold a postdoctoral fellowship position at a Canadian university/research center

· Propose research aligned with occupational health and safety and our research priorities.


Application deadline: April 9, 2021


Ralph McGinn, former chair of the WorkSafeBC Board of Directors, was a lifelong advocate and leader in the field of occupational health and safety in Canada and internationally. To commemorate his tremendous contributions, WorkSafeBC established the Ralph McGinn Postdoctoral Fellowship award.
