On Jan 24th, at the Special General Meeting of our local PSAC77000, the new collective agreement was ratified unanimously by the attending members! The changes take effect on the date of the ratification of the Collective Agreement, unless otherwise specified in the agreement itself. Updates on gym membership, accessing to the new professional development fund and tuition waiver will follow. Stay tuned! In case of any doubt, feel free to contact us.

The bargaining team and 77000 Executive would like to congratulate Dr. Jesse Heilman (former CUPU local 77000 Vice-President and bargaining team member) on his recent hire as an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at Carleton University! We want to thank him for his contribution to the local and wish him all the best in his new role.
With Jesse’s departure we have a vacant position on the bargaining team and invite members interested in taking part in bargaining to reach out to us via email at: contact.psac77000@gmail.com .
Our bargaining team met with Carleton University on July 11, 2018 to exchange our bargaining demands. We used this first meeting to provide an overview of our bargaining demands and establish a bargaining protocol. Our next bargaining date will be set in the fall, where we wil begin discussing non-monetary issues, such as discrimination and harassment, appointment processes, telework, access to resources, professional development, etc.
